Woofun AI reports that SpaceXAI has open-sourced the Grok Build development tooling, including the CLI, terminal interface, and Agent runtime, under the Apache 2.0 license. The release excludes the Grok 4.5 model, which remains cloud-dependent, and the repository does not currently accept external contributions. Following revelations that the tool inadvertently uploaded complete Git repositories, SpaceXAI reset all user usage limits, adjusted data retention settings, and committed to deleting previously uploaded user data.
