Woofun AI data shows that the global cryptocurrency market capitalization decreased by 12.6% to $2.1 trillion in Q2 2026, marking the third consecutive quarterly decline and the lowest level since September 2024. Bitcoin and Ethereum dropped 14.2% and 25.4% respectively, underperforming US equities, while Hyperliquid (HYPE) entered the top ten by market cap. Stablecoin market cap contracted 1.6% to $30.51 billion, with USDT share rising to 60%. Centralized exchange spot volume fell 27.9% to $1.95 trillion, led by Binance at 38.7% share, whereas perpetual contract volume declined only 10.0% to $12.7 trillion. Prediction market volume surged 48.7% to $113.8 billion, with Kalshi holding 58.9% share, and Collector Crypt captured 62.8% of tokenized collectibles volume in June.
