MegaETH Shuts Down Accelerator Program After Incubating 20 Teams
2026-07-17 08:48

Woofun AI reports that MegaETH has ceased operations of its flagship accelerator, Mega Mafia, after a two-year tenure comprising two phases. Core team member Shuyao Kong stated the initiative was based on assumptions that are no longer valid, noting that the program incubated approximately 20 teams which collectively secured around $80 million in funding.

However, most successful projects have departed the ecosystem; Global Token Exchange built its own chain, Noise moved to Base, and HelloTrade shifted to Monad, while others like Avon and Valhalla have shut down. MegaETH held no equity or governance rights in these ventures and will now redirect resources toward developing first-party consumer applications exclusive to its network.
