BofA Raises AMD Price Target 12.7% to $620 on AI Server Demand
2026-07-17 11:36

Woofun AI reports that Bank of America analyst Vivek Arya increased AMD's price target from $550 to $620 while maintaining a Buy rating. The adjustment reflects strong AI server demand, expanding EPYC processor market share, and improved supply visibility. Arya views AMD as a comprehensive AI infrastructure supplier rather than solely a CPU turnaround story, highlighting Instinct accelerators and the upcoming MI455X Helios rack-scale solution as key growth drivers.

The analyst anticipates initial MI455X Helios shipments in Q3 guidance. If execution proceeds smoothly, AI revenue could reach $6 billion to $7 billion by the end of Q4.

Additionally, rising agentic AI workloads are expected to boost data center CPU demand, further expanding AMD's server CPU market opportunity.
