Woofun AI reports that programmer Stefan Thomas possesses an IronKey encrypted USB drive containing private keys for 7,002 Bitcoin, valued at approximately $777 million. The device is configured to permanently erase its contents after ten incorrect password attempts; Thomas has already made eight attempts, leaving only two remaining.

Kingston confirmed that no backup passwords or alternative recovery methods exist beyond the original user-set password. Thomas has engaged digital forensics firm Naxo and security researcher Chris Tarnovsky for assistance, having previously declined Unciphered due to prior verbal agreements.
