Woofun AI reports that Trump Media (TMTG) announced the launch of a paid Truth API on Thursday, granting institutional clients low-latency access to high-impact accounts on Truth Social, including U.S. President Donald Trump. The service targets high-frequency and algorithmic trading firms, with general institutional access scheduled to begin on August 1.

Interim CEO Kevin McGurn stated that the API provides an authorized, real-time machine-readable data stream, advancing the company's strategy to monetize proprietary assets through high-margin recurring revenue. McGurn noted that previous posts, such as those regarding the U.S.-Iran conflict, have triggered market fluctuations. He also warned that the company will create significant friction for entities attempting to scrape data in violation of rules, alongside other major accounts like Donald Trump Jr., Eric Trump, and FBI Director Kash Patel.
