US ETF Launches Hit Record 242 in June, 2026 Total May Exceed 1,450

Woofun AI data shows that 242 ETFs launched in the US during June, establishing a new single-month record equivalent to roughly 11 daily issuances. With 730 new products added in the first half of 2026, the annual total is projected to exceed 1,450, significantly outpacing previous records.

Emerging issuer Corgi drove much of this volume, launching over 100 ETFs in June to rank as the sixth-largest issuer. While BlackRock took over 20 years to build its lineup, Corgi aims for similar scale in under a year with 350 products pending registration.

However, Corgi’s average asset size stands at approximately $4 million, far below the industry average of $3 billion, highlighting a disconnect between product count and capital inflow.
