Woofun AI reports that the new BeanPod Phone has ceased using screen-reading and simulated click technologies to operate applications such as WeChat and Taobao. The device now mandates that applications actively provide MCP services and grant specific data permissions for the assistant to function.

The previous Nubia M153 model utilized GUI technology for app interaction, but major platforms including WeChat, Taobao, Alipay, and banking apps subsequently banned these features. Consequently, BeanPod discontinued support for those scenarios and is currently negotiating with top applications to open AI calling interfaces.
