Woofun AI data shows that approximately 34,000 suspicious transactions were flagged in prediction markets during the first half of 2026, accumulating a total value of roughly $200 million. Geopolitical and war-related events served as the primary catalysts for this activity, with betting volume related to Iran reaching its zenith in late February.

Analysis indicates that up to 71% of the capital involved in these flagged transactions originated from US-regulated cryptocurrency exchanges. Profitability within this segment is highly concentrated, as the top 1% of profitable wallets secured more than half of the total gains.

Furthermore, 57% of these high-performing wallets were established within 24 hours prior to their initial trading activity.
