Woofun AI reports that Ostium intends to restart its perpetual contract trading operations within the current week, providing a 24-hour advance notice to users. The platform’s engineering team, alongside auditors and third-party cybersecurity experts, is conducting final verification checks before the resumption.
Upon restarting, all open positions will be re-marked at real-time market prices, ensuring traders are not liquidated due to price movements during the suspension period.
However, positions falling below the liquidation threshold at the moment of restart will be liquidated, while open orders will remain active. Ostium Labs is also developing a recovery plan for affected liquidity providers, intending to fund the initiative from its own balance sheet in collaboration with existing and new partners.
