Woofun AI reports that Fluidstack, an AI-focused cloud computing provider, finalized an $830 million Series A financing round in January, establishing a post-money valuation of $7.5 billion. The investment was spearheaded by the Situational Awareness fund managed by former OpenAI researcher Leopold Aschenbrenner, alongside participation from various other investors.
The company specializes in constructing infrastructure for AI laboratories with the objective of becoming the global leader in deploying hundreds of gigawatts of computing power at the highest speed.
