Hanwha Group Surges to 9.6% Stake in Securitize

Woofun AI reports that Hanwha Group has assumed the position of largest shareholder in US RWA issuer Securitize, holding 15.6895 million shares representing a 9.6% stake. This holding exceeds Blockchain Capital’s 6.0% and co-founder Carlos Domingo’s 5.4%. The aggregate stake comprises 5.9% through its private equity fund, 3.1% via Hanwha Systems subsidiary H Foundation, and 0.6% held by Hanwha Investment & Securities. Hanwha Investment & Securities also deployed 58 billion KRW this year into blockchain entities including Xangle, Kresus, and Digital Asset, while increasing its Dunamu stake to 9.84% via a 597.8 billion KRW investment.
