Woofun AI reports that NVIDIA introduced the Spectrum-6 Ethernet switching system on July 21st, engineered for next-generation hyperscale AI data centers built on the Vera Rubin platform. The device delivers a single-switching capacity of 102.4 Tbps, twice that of its predecessor, enabling connectivity for hundreds of thousands of GPUs and CPUs to facilitate large-scale AI training, agent applications, and inference. Spectrum-6 functions as a core element of the upcoming Spectrum-X Ethernet platform, leveraging high bandwidth, intelligent traffic management, and fault recovery to boost computing efficiency. Early deployment partners include CoreWeave, Microsoft, Nebius, SpaceXAI, and Tesla.
