Woofun AI reports that the Polygon Foundation has confirmed the successful deployment of the Ithaca hard fork on the Amoy testnet. The upgrade is scheduled to activate on the Polygon mainnet at block height 50,185,000, anticipated around 22:00 Beijing time on July 29.

The update introduces an automatic failover mechanism to maintain transaction flow during rare block producer stalls. It also implements a protection layer to intercept transactions that may destabilize the network, while offering node operators improved visibility into underlying operations.
