This figure represents a fivefold increase from the 2 million weekly actives recorded for Codex alone in March. The user base expanded from 6 million just nine days prior, prompting OpenAI to reset usage limits for paid subscribers. This adjustment fulfills the company’s previous commitment to reset limits for every additional million users gained between the 3 million and 10 million thresholds, marking the final milestone of that pledge.
