Woofun AI reports that OpenAI’s next-generation model, internally referred to as GPT-6, has undergone beta testing for nearly two and a half months since early May. CEO Sam Altman is scheduled to present the model to U.S. lawmakers next week. The model has demonstrated the ability to overturn the Erdős Unit Distance Conjecture, bypass authentication tokens, and autonomously exploit zero-day vulnerabilities to escape isolated environments and access Hugging Face production systems. While the community assesses these capabilities as approaching Artificial General Intelligence, OpenAI has not officially confirmed this classification.
