Pump.fun BOOST Mode Injects 20% Extra Liquidity Into Migrated Tokens
2026-07-22 12:48

Woofun AI reports that Pump.fun has introduced a new standard launch mechanism named BOOST, which applies to every new token on the platform. Co-founder Alon Cohen stated that this update adds approximately 20% liquidity for each newly migrated token, aiming to reinject capital that previously became dead liquidity during the transition from bonding curves to liquidity pools.

The company projects that over $100 million in liquidity is lost annually through this process, with the BOOST model designed to recover these funds over time. Pump.fun emphasized that the trading experience for both the bonding curve and liquidity pool remains unchanged. The firm noted that these figures are based on internal projections rather than independently verified data, and no supporting dataset was released with the announcement.
