Woofun AI reports that Bitcoin maintained consolidation near $66,000, recording a 1% intraday rise and a 3% weekly gain alongside $31 billion in 24-hour trading volume. ETH traded around $1,920 with a similar 3% weekly increase, while XRP climbed 2% to $1.13 and TRX edged higher. Conversely, HYPE declined 4% intraday and fell approximately 10% over the past seven days.
Global chip stocks advanced for a second consecutive day, with the U.S. semiconductor index rising over 5% and the South Korean KOSPI surging before retreating, led by SK Hynix's 13% jump.
Meanwhile, the yen dropped below 163 against the dollar, marking a low not seen since 1986 despite intervention threats from Japanese Finance Minister Koichiro Gemba. Rising U.S. bond yields and geopolitical tensions further pressured the yen, while Bitcoin's correlation with chip stocks remained stronger than its linkage to the yen.
