Woofun AI reports that Lionel Messi’s investment platform Play Time has included World Labs in its portfolio. World Labs specializes in spatial intelligence and world modeling research, aiming to enable AI systems to understand, generate, and manipulate 3D environments.

Established in 2022, Play Time initially targeted sports, media, and technology sectors. Its current holdings also feature robotics firm FieldAI, voice AI startup Fish Audio, and AI data platform SuperAnnotate. World Labs secured $1 billion in funding this February, with major investors including NVIDIA, AMD, and Autodesk.
