Woofun AI reports that Ostium, an RWA trading platform on Arbitrum, will resume operations at 22:00 on July 23. The restart follows a July 15 attack on off-chain pricing infrastructure that caused losses exceeding $23.75 million. The resumption is phased: closing positions, margin calls, order updates, stop-loss/take-profit settings, and forced liquidations activate first. New position openings are permitted only after all pending orders are liquidated. Existing open interest and pending orders remain intact, marked at real-time prices at the moment of resumption.
Only prices at that instant determine liquidation or trigger events; price fluctuations during the suspension are ignored. Liquidity providers face suspended deposits, with withdrawals processed in the next settlement cycle. Ostium warns against fake accounts, stating the team has issued no registration forms and will not request private keys or funds. The protocol is collaborating with Mandiant, zeroShadow, Collisionless, SEAL 911, law enforcement, exchanges, bridges, and stablecoin issuers, and will provide 24 hours’ notice before restarting.
