Bitcoin ETF Inflows Hit $779M as $68,000 Resistance Faces Selling Pressure

Woofun AI reports that Bitcoin surpassed $65,800, reaching a one-month high, while US spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded net inflows for the sixth consecutive trading day, adding $203 million on Tuesday to reach approximately $779 million since July 13th. Spot Ethereum ETFs also saw $37.5 million in inflows, marking three straight days of positive flow.

Bitfinex analysts identify $68,000 as the next critical resistance level, where short-term holder cost basis aligns with the Q2 opening price, potentially triggering selling pressure from investors breaking even after five months. K33 Research Director Vetle Lunde notes that Bitcoin remains in a seasonal low-volume phase, with 30-day spot volume at 62.4% of the annual average and July CME Bitcoin open interest below 100,000 BTC, the lowest since October 2023. Capital.com analyst Daniela Hathorn cites $63,000 as recent support, warning that a breakdown could spark profit-taking, whereas holding above this level may reinforce upward momentum toward the $65,000-$66,000 range.
