Woofun AI data shows that the total market capitalization of tokenized stocks reached approximately $1.7 billion by the end of June, representing a more than fivefold increase from $329 million a year ago. Over half of this value stems from assets not present on-chain previously, indicating growth is primarily fueled by new issuance rather than price appreciation of underlying holdings.

The composition of the market has shifted significantly, with crypto-related products declining from 79% to 21% of the share. Conversely, large-cap tech stocks rose to 10.6%, ETFs and index products to 17.3%, and AI and chip-related stocks surged from 0.3% to 15.5%. Monthly transfer volume in June hit $9.22 billion, a 170x increase from the prior year. Institutional developments include DTCC completing transactions on the Canton Network, Robinhood launching a proprietary chain, and NYSE parent establishing a joint venture with OKX. Coinbase and Binance have also initiated or planned services for non-US users.
