He alleged the entity developed an internal platform to mass-call US models and evade detection, though no public evidence was provided and no response has been received.

Nous Research co-founder Teknium satirized the accusation by mimicking the sentence structure. He stated that Anthropic scraped his public posts from GitHub, X, Reddit, Discord, and Facebook to train Fable, adding, "They are actually distilling everyone on Earth." Teknium highlighted the distinction between web scraping and model distillation, noting that while US models absorbing web content is termed training, Chinese models learning from US models is labeled theft.
