Woofun AI reports that Bitget has completed registration on the Financial Service Providers Register (FSPR) in New Zealand. The authorized business scope encompasses foreign currency exchange, cross-border remittances, asset custody, portfolio management, and the execution of trades for financial products including stocks and ETFs on behalf of clients.
Bitget has also joined the New Zealand IFSO dispute resolution scheme to provide an independent channel for user disputes. This development complements previous regulatory approvals, including a DASP license in El Salvador and a FSCA license in South Africa. On the product front, Bitget offers rToken, a US stock token pegged 1:1 to traditional market liquidity, and a broker-direct service supporting over 10,000 US stocks and options.
