Prosecutors allege World continued issuing crypto rewards via in-app transactions after the National Data Protection Authority ordered a halt in February 2025. An Iris Parliamentary Committee report indicated promotions targeted peripheral areas to attract socioeconomically vulnerable individuals, while consumers were reportedly uninformed about the project's economic purpose or data storage risks on AWS servers.
