Woofun AI data shows that optical communication chip supplier MaxLinear reported Q2 2026 total revenue of $169 million, representing a 55% year-over-year increase. Diluted earnings per share reached $0.02, up 106% from -$0.52 in the prior period, while net profit hit $0.02 billion, a 107% YoY rise. Non-GAAP net income surged 1,854% to $0.34 billion, with non-GAAP EPS at $0.35.

The company projects next-quarter revenue between $210 million and $220 million, with GAAP gross margins of 57.0% to 60.0%. Despite these figures, MaxLinear’s stock price declined over 11.22% in after-hours trading to $81.
