Woofun AI reports that Robinhood confirmed CEO Vlad Tenev's X account was hacked to promote a counterfeit meme coin named Vladhood on the Robinhood Chain. The token recorded over $22 million in trading volume within hours, reaching a fully diluted valuation of approximately $2.6 million, before the block explorer marked the contract as a scam.
On-chain data indicates the token was launched via Pons 46 minutes prior to the fraudulent post, with Tenev's homepage filled as the official website, suggesting a coordinated operation. The attacker avoided withdrawing liquidity, instead making six calls to Pons's fee collection function to extract approximately 31.6 ETH and 72 million VLAD tokens, totaling around $247,000. This incident marks at least the third social media scam involving Robinhood Chain meme coins in three weeks.
