The updated voice mode integrates with Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Docs, and Slack, enabling users to check emails, reschedule appointments, or draft replies via authorization prompts. The feature is available for testing on mobile, desktop, and web, supporting English, Japanese, and Korean, but excluding Chinese. Free users remain limited to Haiku and one integration tool. This upgrade focuses on model inference and tool invocation, with no significant changes to speech naturalness or interruption experience as the underlying voice model remains unchanged.
