Bitcoin Realized Losses Drop 56% From Peak While Demand Recovery Remains Weak

Woofun AI data shows that Bitcoin's 30-day moving average of realized losses declined 56.5% from a February 2026 peak of $1.37 billion to approximately $597 million. This peak exceeded the 2022 cycle high of $1.15 billion.

Meanwhile, realized profits have recovered slowly to $257 million, down 92.7% from the December 2024 peak of $3.51 billion. Analyst Axel Adler notes that while loss-driven selling pressure has weakened, sustained demand recovery is absent as profit recovery lags behind loss reduction. The realized profit/loss ratio stands at 0.43, below the 1.0 threshold, with losses exceeding profits on 190 of the last 291 days since the all-time high. A break below the 0.26 ratio and the $58,535 price floor could signal further market pressure.
