Woofun AI reports that SK Hynix has accelerated the construction of its advanced semiconductor packaging plant, P&T7, in Cheongju, advancing the operational date of its first clean room by approximately three months. The company now expects the facility to be operational as early as July 2027, ahead of the previously announced October 2027 target.

SK Hynix initiated tenders for utility and infrastructure projects earlier than planned, with internal expectations aligning with a one-quarter acceleration. While some equipment-related tenders are being reissued due to lack of bidders, industry insiders anticipate that all utility infrastructure tenders will be completed by around August.
