Woofun AI reports that ChangXin Memory has maintained firm pricing for Huawei despite requests for reductions, signaling a shift from volume-based competition to selective customer engagement. Driven by AI data center demand, ChangXin is constructing two new factories in Shanghai and Hefei, with plans for a third, aiming to double monthly capacity to over 600,000 wafers. Yangtze Memory is also expanding with two new plants, though new capacity will not arrive until 2027. Several domestic technology companies have filed complaints with the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology regarding price increases, highlighting a transition from sales concerns to production capacity shortages.
