Intel (INTC) led gains with a 4.76% increase, followed by Arm (ARM) up 0.96% and AMD (AMD) up 0.41%. Conversely, SK Hynix (SKHY) dropped 2.93%, Micron Technology (MU) fell 2.16%, Marvell Technology (MRVL) declined 1.41%, and Nvidia (NVDA) decreased 0.72%.
The storage sector experienced widespread losses, with SK Hynix (SKHY) down 2.93%, SanDisk (SNDK) falling 2.19%, Micron Technology (MU) dropping 2.16%, Western Digital (WDC) declining 1.68%, and Seagate Technology (STX) down 1.24%. Most optical communication stocks also traded lower, including Nokia (NOK) at -2.15%, Astera Labs (ALAB) at -1.99%, Credo (CRDO) at -1.86%, Ciena (CIEN) at -1.14%, and Applied Optoelectronics (AAOI) at -0.62%.
