Woofun AI reports that Cognition has acquired The Interaction Company, developer of the personal AI agent Poke. This transaction marks Cognition's second acquisition in three days, following the purchase of the TierZero team on July 20. Poke operates within text messages to manage schedules and tasks, having processed over 100 million messages for tens of thousands of users. It is the first third-party AI agent granted access to Apple Messages for Business. The product will continue operating and integrate with Cognition’s models. Previously, Cognition acquired Windsurf, expanding its scope from coding tools to software operations and daily agents.
