Woofun AI reports that Google Play in South Korea has rendered 29 overseas virtual asset exchange applications unavailable for download. The removal targets platforms primarily used for derivative trading, such as futures. Fourteen of these exchanges were previously identified by the Financial Services Commission’s Financial Intelligence Unit as unregistered Virtual Asset Service Providers and referred to investigative authorities. An additional 15 exchanges, not listed in the official investigation notice, also face installation blocks.
