Bitcoin Profit Supply Hits 57.5% but Bull Market Confirmation Remains Premature
2026-07-24 18:02

Woofun AI data shows that the Bitcoin Supply in Profit has risen to 57.5%, rebounding significantly from a low of 46.2% recorded on June 30, 2026. This metric indicates the proportion of BTC where the current price exceeds the holding cost, approaching the 60% level.

However, historical cycles suggest that confirming the end of a bear market requires two simultaneous conditions: the 30-day simple moving average of the Long-Term Holder Profit and Loss Ratio (LTH-SOPR) must remain above 1, and the Supply in Profit must stabilize above 64%. Currently, the LTH-SOPR 30-day SMA has remained below 1 for over 50 consecutive days, serving as a persistent risk signal. A previous period between April 28 and June 1 saw the LTH-SOPR average above 1 for 35 days and the profit ratio reach 67%, yet the market subsequently declined again. Analysts note that further verification of long-term holder behavior is necessary to determine if this rebound marks a genuine new upward cycle.
