Woofun AI reports that Brazil’s B3 stock exchange has utilized tokenized cattle as collateral for a 100,000 Brazilian reais ($19,600) loan. The transaction involves 10 dairy cows from Fazenda Engenho Velho in Paraná, valued at approximately 120,000 Brazilian reais ($23,500), and was structured by investment fund Target FIDC. Each animal is assigned a unique digital token linked to an encrypted identity, while Cowmed’s AI-powered smart collars monitor health metrics to minimize physical inspections. Cowmed currently tracks roughly 100,000 dairy cows across 1,000 farms, marking a new credit access model for livestock farmers.
