Woofun AI reports that ByteDance has officially launched the Professional Edition of its AI assistant Doubao, built upon the newly released Doubao 2.1 series model. Designed for complex office and productivity scenarios, this service introduces an office task mode capable of executing Agent tasks with user authorization. This functionality allows the system to directly operate local computers and browsers to assist with document processing, spreadsheets, data organization, and cross-application automated operations such as publishing scheduled Weibo posts.

The edition integrates an Office suite supporting multi-round editing and collaboration on online documents, spreadsheets, and PPTs, alongside Skills packages for creative design, data visualization, and financial analysis. Pricing tiers include a standard plan at 68 RMB/month, offering access to Doubao 2.1 Pro with quotas exceeding five times the free version, an enhanced plan at 200 RMB/month, and a premium plan at 500 RMB/month.

Additionally, ByteDance offers a student discount of 38 RMB/month for the standard plan and accessibility-friendly pricing for visually impaired users.
