Cboe Global Markets Launches Cboe Predicts Platform with Mini S&P 500 Binary Options Contracts
2026-06-24 10:28

Woofun AI reports that Cboe Global Markets has officially launched Cboe Predicts, a new prediction market platform accompanied by its inaugural suite of prediction products. The initial offering features binary options contracts tied to the mini S&P 500 index (XSP), identified by the codes XSPBW and XSPBX. These contracts represent one-tenth the size of standard S&P 500 index options (SPX), providing a scaled entry point for traders.

Currently, trading is accessible via Interactive Brokers, with plans to expand availability to additional retail brokerage platforms, including Charles Schwab, in the coming months. As regulated securities options, these instruments are centrally cleared by the Options Clearing Corporation (OCC) and adhere to the same regulatory and monitoring frameworks applied to U.S. listed options.
