Woofun AI reports that StarkWare has published a three-phase roadmap to fortify Starknet against potential quantum computing threats. CEO Eli Ben-Sasson emphasized that the network's reliance on zero-knowledge STARK proofs provides a structural advantage for achieving quantum resistance. The initial phase entails substituting the current Pedersen hash with a quantum-resistant variant and implementing quantum-safe signatures. Subsequent stages prioritize automated migration tools to upgrade smart contracts without manual developer intervention, while the final phase addresses external dependencies, specifically aligning with Ethereum's quantum upgrade trajectory. Other networks including Solana, Circle, Tezos, and Algorand have also announced similar initiatives.
