Led by former AWS executive Adam Selipsky, the company plans to accelerate customized computing facility provision for hyperscale cloud providers by acquiring existing data center developers rather than building from scratch. The firm is evaluating acquisitions of enterprises specializing in facilities for large cloud clients to alleviate supply bottlenecks and speed up infrastructure deployment amid high AI compute demand.
