Woofun AI reports that Sovright, a non-profit formed by former Zcash developers, has launched the Argos wallet recovery tool. This utility enables early adopters to retrieve assets trapped in shielded addresses after the 2022 discontinuation of ZEC Wallet Lite.

Sovright Chairperson Michelle Lai confirmed that users possessing original mnemonic phrases can utilize Argos for fund recovery. While exact affected address counts remain undetermined, significant capital is estimated to be involved.

Additionally, Sovright deployed a testnet version of its mining pool to mitigate Zcash hashrate centralization and support individual miners.
