Woofun AI reports that on-chain security firm Specter has released preliminary findings regarding the BONK DAO governance attack. Tracing capital movements reveals potential interactions between the wallet of the Realms founder, associated with Crypto Notte, and the suspected attacker's address. The attacker submitted a malicious governance proposal on June 30, which required 1% of the total circulating BONK supply to pass. Between July 4 and 5, the attacker accumulated sufficient voting power by purchasing tokens on exchanges and borrowing from Marginfi, totaling approximately $4 million, enabling the execution of the attack.
