Woofun AI reports that OpenAI has introduced the Codex Micro keyboard, a $230 peripheral engineered specifically for its AI coding assistant. Developed with Work Louder, the device includes illuminated keys for agent status, dedicated shortcuts, a workflow joystick, and a dial to adjust reasoning levels, all customizable via the ChatGPT desktop app.

This hardware release coincides with legal tensions, as Apple sued OpenAI last week alleging intentional extraction of confidential information for hardware development. OpenAI has denied these allegations.
