Woofun AI reports that a South Korean court will deliver its first-instance judgment regarding Bithumb’s accidental Bitcoin issuance on August 27. The exchange previously sued four users for unjust enrichment, claiming approximately 500 million won in total. Involved users are accused of selling the mistakenly received BTC and retaining roughly 194 million won in cash. In February, Bithumb erroneously recorded Korean won points as BTC during event reward distribution. The exchange initiated recovery procedures and stated that by March 10, it had recovered 99% of the 1,788 BTC that remained unclaimed.
