He argued that domestic AI chips now face no hardware or ecosystem compatibility barriers, with production capacity being the sole remaining constraint.

According to the internal remarks, DeepSeek has partnered with Huawei to deploy 16,000 Ascend 950 cards. Liang claimed these super nodes can fully replace NVIDIA’s GB200 and GB300 systems in both performance and price, predicting the market perception of domestic chips will reverse within a year.
