Coinbase to Suspend Perpetual Trading for KAITO and Eleven Other Assets on May 21

Coinbase will halt perpetual contract trading for KAITO and 11 other tokens on May 21. Open positions will be auto-settled using the 60-minute average index price, with funding rates set to zero.

Coinbase has disclosed that it will suspend trading of perpetual contracts for KAITO, SENT, SAHARA, CAKE, TOSHI, AKT, VET, ANIME, THETA, ZK, KERNEL, and BARD around 21:00 on May 21. Any open positions held at the time of suspension will be automatically settled, with the final settlement price determined based on the average index price recorded in the 60 minutes prior to the trade halt. The funding rate during this final settlement period will be set to zero.
