RWA Sector Leads Crypto Market Rally with 2.12% Gain Amid BTC Consolidation

Data compiled by Woofun AI shows that the cryptocurrency market is undergoing a period of narrow range consolidation, with Bitcoin (BTC) retreating 0.38% to hover near $78,000 and Ethereum (ETH) dipping 0.41% while holding above $2,100. In contrast, the Real World Assets (RWA) sector emerged as a standout performer, appreciating by 2.12% over a 24-hour period. Within this category, Plume (PLUME) recorded the most significant surge at 16.85%, followed by Centrifuge (CFG) with a 6.98% increase and Ondo Finance (ONDO) rising 3.24%.
Concurrently, other major sectors displayed mixed but generally positive momentum. The Layer 2 sector advanced 0.76%, led by Celestia (TIA) up 4.45%, while the DeFi sector gained 0.71%.
Notably, Hyperliquid (HYPE) increased by 2.07% and breached the $62 threshold to establish a new all-time high during the session. The Layer 1 sector also rose 0.71%, with NEAR Protocol (NEAR) jumping 17.83%, whereas the PayFi sector declined 0.88% despite Safe (SAFE) gaining 11.85%. Historical sector indices further confirmed this trend, with ssiCeFi, ssiLayer2, and ssiLayer1 indices climbing 0.77%, 0.64%, and 0.51%, respectively.
