RWA Sector Surges 2.12% as BTC Holds Steady Near $78,000 Amid Narrow Market Fluctuations
While BTC and ETH traded in tight ranges, the RWA sector led gains with a 2.12% rise. Hyperliquid (HYPE) hit a new high above $62, and NEAR surged 17.83%, contrasting with a slight decline in the PayFi sector.
Data compiled by Woofun AI shows that the broader cryptocurrency market experienced narrow-range fluctuations, with Bitcoin (BTC) declining by 0.38% to hover around $78,000 and Ethereum (ETH) dropping 0.41% while maintaining support above $2,100. In contrast, the Real World Assets (RWA) sector demonstrated exceptional strength, posting a 24-hour gain of 2.12%. Leading this rally were Plume (PLUME), which rose by 16.85%, Centrifuge (CFG) up 6.98%, and Ondo Finance (ONDO) gaining 3.24%.
Meanwhile, other segments displayed mixed but generally positive momentum. The Layer2 sector advanced by 0.76%, driven by Celestia (TIA) increasing 4.45%. In DeFi, Hyperliquid (HYPE) climbed 2.07% and breached the $62 threshold to set a new historical high. The Layer1 sector rose 0.71%, highlighted by NEAR Protocol (NEAR) soaring 17.83%. Conversely, the PayFi sector retreated by 0.88%, despite Safe (SAFE) rising 11.85%. Sector indices confirmed this trend, with ssiCeFi, ssiLayer2, and ssiLayer1 increasing by 0.77%, 0.64%, and 0.51%, respectively.
