2026-07-20 08:10

Woofun AI reports that Samsung SDS has launched Neural Processing Unit as a Service (NPUaaS) on the Samsung Cloud Platform, utilizing FuriosaAI's second-generation Renegade processor. The service allows enterprises to access AI inference capabilities for tasks such as response generation and image classification via subscription, eliminating the need for direct hardware procurement or data center construction. Clients can scale usage from one to eight NPUs, integrating with high-performance storage and networking products. The offering is available within the SCP Sovereign Cloud environment to meet strict security requirements for public sector clients. Lee Ho-jun, head of the Cloud Service Division, indicated continued expansion of the SCP product portfolio.
