Woofun AI reports that David Sacks, Chairman of the President's Council of Advisors on Science and Technology, stated on X that the Kimi K3 model successfully completed 15 critical security vulnerability repair tasks. He noted that Codex and Fable refused these requests citing "network security protection mechanisms".
Sacks asserted there is no justification for restricting US models from performing these tasks while Chinese models operate without such limitations. He concluded that maintaining these restrictions serves only to diminish US competitiveness in the AI sector.
